Can your hair actually start falling out in clumps if dyed too much?

yes.. im naturally blonde, and i dyed my hair black and then i wanted to be blonde again so i bleached it a lot and mt hair fell off, if you dye your hair darker and you dont have to lift your natural color then it isnt damaging your hair just gets a little dry
