How to cut "scene bangs" at home?

My hair is very curly, it's about an inch past my shoulders but I never straighten it so it shrinks. I refuse To straighten my hair so at the moment I have hardly any split ends. My bangs grow really fast and I want to cut them so they don't hurt my eyes but I'd like to keep them so they completely cover my forehead (I have acne under there :/). I have a cowlick instead of a part on the back on my left and when I had side bangs before they went to the right. How can I make them look "sceneish" without a razor or straightening them. (idea! I dig brookelle bones bangs. Or Cheyenne snider or charlotte destiny.) help please? :)
