My blood is clumping?

First of all, I am going to say that I have been self injuring for years now. That is not the question, and I am not asking for help on that subject. Anyways, recently, while cutting, the blood at first was flowing easily. However, it beaded up to a clump and was basically just a thick ball of blood (for each of the cuts). Should I be concerned or is it normal?
