Why do most guys say i love you but dont mean it and girls do?

hi my name is cheyenne and i was woundering like when guys say "i love you" but two days later break up with you? why are girls always saying stuff they mean and they guy just sits there and pretends to like you. Are they afraid to get hurt or what? I dont understand plz help me, and i dont mean all guys.
